British Airways will always continue to have less profits because of all the terrorist threats at the moment and the pressure by global warming. I think despite their hard time, plane transport is fast becoming the main transport for the moment.
British Airways will need to gert their security and emergency services right for customers otherwise people will start to go to other plane companies it order to get better service. This could potentially lead to a bad reputation for BA and therefore much lower profits.
