Chrylser downsizing 13,000 jobs

In this article chrylser have shedded 13,000 jobs in order to cut expenditures from worker wages.

In my opinion, Chrylser shouldn't cut the jobs because although they will cut expenses, they will leave lots of people unemployed and possibly have a bad reputation for the company. Potentially this repuation could result in less sales for Chryler.
These implications show that Chrysler really need all the workes they can get but as with every compnay they can'rt work with minimum workers because they won't do their jobs as well and Chrysler cars could suffer from this.
